Hi,
I have a problem with dvips 5.58f. It seem that if the TeX file
contains a global \magnification then dvips applies this magnification
to the inserted postscripts too (that's IMHO a Bad Thing). You can try
with the following file:
\magnification=\magstep4
\input psfig
\null
\psfig{figure=angel.eps}
\bye
where angel.eps is a bitmap (in my case the university logo). If you
see it with xdvi with ps capability the logo have his natural size,
and the same things happen if you covert it to ps with dvips 5.511,
but if you use dvips 5.58f the angel will show up 4 time bigger...
Can you help me please?
Thanks in Advance,
Romano.
